The Allegheny Highlands are aptly named! With views that go on for miles, you'll travel through pristine forests that rarely see visitors. Penn's Woods trails provide light scenic challenges, medium challenging trails for the more adventurous, or difficult trails for the seasoned driver. Each trail level has a variety of hills to climb, mud to traverse, and rocks to negotiate. Nearby are oil history museums and the remains of the Kinzua Train Viaduct, once considered the eighth wonder of the world. Also of interest is a new World War II museum in nearby Eldred.
